Why the extra step?
keyTAP is made by a small, independent team. Signing an app costs money every year, and we keep keyTAP at $1.99/month, so the direct installer isn't signed yet. That's why Windows doesn't recognize us. Always download keyTAP from this website.
Need a hand?
Your PC's security settings block unknown apps. Install from Microsoft Store instead, or ask your IT admin. Don't turn off Windows security.
Stop. Don't restore the file. Delete it and contact us.
Make sure keyTAP is open, a sound profile is picked, and your volume is up.
Open PowerShell and run the command below. The result should match the SHA-256 shown in the download box.
Get-FileHash "$env:USERPROFILE\Downloads\keyTAP-Setup.exe" -Algorithm SHA256Go to Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find keyTAP, and click Uninstall.
